We raise our pigs in the woods where they browse on nuts, roots, grubs and anything else they dig up. We feed them certified organic feed and Non GMO feed without soy or corn. They also get organic veggies, eggs and raw milk.

They love belly scratches and will roll over like dogs. Thumba, our sow is a Mangalitsa Redwattle cross. Rawhide our boar is a Redwattle Large Black cross. We prefer a 3 way cross for faster growth and hardiness. Mangalitsa’s have a high lard yield and are known for their delicious meat. Red Wattles are a heritage breed that have much leaner meat known for its marbling. We find that combining these breeds produces a balanced meat.

We breed once a year and offer Pork Shares as well as Feeder Pigs for others to raise out themselves. All of our pigs are un-vaccinated.
